I want to hear you opinion on elder care in Hong Kong.
DeleteDifficult to comment and it very much depends on the elders' financial and social situations but I guess it is not a nice thing to get old and very old in a competitive city like Hong Kong. Most of the elderly homes in HK funded by the government are good in HK's standard but those private ones - mostly a sad ending place for the financially dependent and socially deprived old folks. The biggest winners are those renting out their properties for private nursing homes.
DeleteI won't want to age to a stage I need to get into one, both government funded or privately operated.
