這位女伯爵並非鄧蓮如，而是蘇菲阿羅蘭。在5、60年代，被中國驅逐出境的白俄羅斯政治難民，大多滯留在九龍城的太子酒店，後來大部份被澳洲收容。如電影中的女主角，能上了郵船，成功偷渡到美國的，應該就只有蘇菲阿羅蘭一人了。
