THE FALLS

Located just feet off the Kancamagus Highway, Lower Falls is a legendary White Mountain National Forest attraction. This is the White Mountains waterfall that so many travelers will recall enjoying immensely during childhood. Hot summer weekends can bring thousands of visitors per day. Although none of cascades are large or particularly noteworthy, it does not really matter; there are so many cascades and pools to swim and splash in that make this place special. With simple and easy access, you can understand why this waterfall may be the most heavily visited in New England.
